Core 1 is the entry point for many students. Upon determination that Core 1 courses are required for your degree plan, completion will be required before moving to Core 2 courses. The purpose of this core is to offer prerequisite knowledge of the Bible that is necessary for further studies. Core 1 is designed to provide a common level of biblical knowledge to students creating a sure foundation to build on.
The Acts of the Apostles Course Description
The Book of Acts is the intended sequel to the Gospel of Luke, showing how the Christian Church applied Christ teachings to life as they proclaimed His message throughout the world. In this course, students complete an exegetical study of the Book of Acts by focusing on biblical theology. The objective of this course is to enable students to articulate the message of Acts in a way that is textually accurate but to apply the message to their life and ministry.
The Roman Road Course Description
The Book of Romans is crucial to the understanding of salvation and sanctification. In this course, students explore the rich truths of justification, holiness, and spirituality. By the end of the course, the students will be able to complete an exegetical study of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. The student will give an exegetical interpretation to provide a critical explanation of the text. The objective of this course is to give each student a strong foundation for the Five Fold Ministry.
